This is a playgroup for infants to toddlers to acquire and use American Sign Language. Hearing babies and deaf babies are welcome, as well as their parents. I am fluent in ASL and have been part of the Deaf community for many years. I started this group to give my hearing son (age 7 months) a group of peers who sign regularily. The group accepts all level of signers, and I will be giving lessons in ASL to those parents who would like more grammar and vocabulary assistance.

In an industry where we so often work alone, this group will serve as a platform for discussing topics, concerns, and questions relevant to American Sign Language interpreting in a collaborative format. In addition to discussion, we will use this group to improve our skills and further our education through practice and exchanging constructive feedback with our peers.
