The San Francisco ASL Group is for everyone who is interested to chat in ASL. All are welcome: deaf, hard of hearing and hearing!!! All who love to meet other ASLers, to practice ASL and to have some fun! This will be a signing only environment. You may use written notes, your own body language (as you do in a foreign country) or fingerspelling but no voice should be used. This group offers a local outlet for anyone who would like to practice and build on the ASL skills you already have. You don't have to be fluent, however, it is beneficial if you have taken or are attending ASL classes as a foundation.
