Why are you interested in ASL?

I am a returned Peace Corps Volunteer, formerly working with the deaf in Kenya. My ASL skills are pathetic, for I have used Kenyan SL for the past year and a half. I really want to continue using Sign Language. I am excited to meet the group but I cannot promise my communication skills to be more than childlike and minimal. I have made friends who are Deaf, both Kenyan and American, during my service and I want to be able to communicate with them when I see them again.

Do you already know sign?

I have taken ASL I at Metro three years ago. Since then I have een using KSL. I know it share some similar signs but it is quite different.
