Welcome! We're America's Finest Signers! :)
This is a wonderful group of families interested in American Sign Language (ASL). Some only want a way to communicate with their pre-verbal children. Others have decided to learn it as a second (or third!) language.
This group covers all of San Diego County. As the group grows we will have representatives in each corner that hold local monthly meetings. In the future I hope to include playgroups, Mom's Night Out, a quarterly meeting for the entire group and two big bashes a year (one in the Summer & one in the Winter).
As a way to keep our group safe and friendly, I request that as soon as you can after joining, answer the profile questions, post a picture and attend at least one event. This is a Meetup group as opposed to a chat group. If you are not meeting up, then you may be asked to leave.
