- Deaf myself from very early childhood, from Europe. I work at the Gladstone Institutes /UCSF in HIV Research as a Research Associate. I am also a student for the Masters propgram in Special Education for Deaf/HH at SFSU.
- Would love to know our age range of the ASL group! If you are brave please tell me your birthday and year ;) No worries, you won't have to tell it ;)

- Why you are interested in communicating in ASL ?

Well, I'm Deaf myself and that is my preferable mode of communication. But since I'm from Germany I'm not yet fluent in ASL. I have another sign language over ther in Europe ;). I love ASL very much and improve my skills currently at Vista Collge, now Berkely City College at one of the best ASL schools in California !!!! :)

It's ironic, we have traveled quite often but never to California! It would be terrific to come out and meet you as well as the rest of the meetup friends. We think you are doing an awesome job learning ASL as a 2nd language - sign language, that is.
We're new with the meetup and we love it. Wish we did this long ago but all the filming and meetings took us away from the "internet" generation that is blooming now.
