Introduction

Deaf myself from very early childhood, from Europe. I work at the Gladstone Institutes /UCSF in HIV Research as a Research Associate. I also completed the Masters propgram in Special Education for Deaf/HH at SFSU recently.

What is your current ASL level?

ASL 4

Why you are interested in communicating in ASL ?

I'm Deaf myself and this is my preferable mode of communication. Since I'm from Germany I'm not yet fluent in ASL. I have another sign language over there in Europe ;). Even though I consider myself a good signer I hope to become one day fluent :)

Would love to know our age range of the ASL group! If you are brave please tell me your birthday and year ;) No worries, you won't have to tell it ;)

It's a great group to practice signs and to connect to native deaf signers. Also it helps connect hearing people to the deaf world- and vice versa. Who knows- maybe you'll find you new best friend within this group ;)
