“ So is there anyone that is just absolutely bad at signing? LoL. I was learning ASL in first and second grade then lost it. I'm starting over practicing finger-spelling and picking up random signs from friends. I figure that is how you start learning any language. I can't go back to school yet so this is all on my own. I've bought flashcards and books but sometimes I think my interpretation is off. Any patient signers or other newbies you could hook me up with? ”

Yeah, I don't know if you remember, I'm in an Audiology major. I know for that major, i would only need ASL 1 & 2, but i want to keep continuing and become better at signing. =) Okay i hope to hear from you soon!!! Nice meeting you again ”

“ The only day I'm on campus is Wednesday from 7-10 p.m., but I'm going to make it to whatever ASL events they have this month and next so I can practice. I'm going to be doing my practical for ASL 1 soon so I just need to review. ”

“ Yes my husband has attended several meetups with his deaf community. Different ones include starbucks, bowling, mandango's, dennys, pizza ... I have gone to some but look forward to going to a lot more, and showing him this meetup :) Thanks for the shout out !!! ”
