Hi I just started taking an ASL class with Linda Nelson who I think ROCKS!!! I wanted to learn more and get fluent in signing. Looking forward to getting together for coffee & conversation.

When did you first become aware of the existence of ASL?

Back in 1987 when I dated a boy with a sister who was a deaf person who I loved and wanted to talk with. She taught me my first signs and I've loved the language ever since so now I want to learn as much as I can.
